A new life….

Sometime in February next year, in the depths of a Canadian winter, I will become a father for the first time. Cecilia and I head back to eastern North American shores just before Christmas, and will stay for a few months, acclimatizing to the cold wind, rain and snow, preparing for life with a new member of our family. I can’t wait.

In preparation for three months of real winter, we decided to catch a few days’ sunshine on Phu Quoc Island, off the coast of Vietnam/Cambodia. I’m sure we’ll be back here sometime after our return to Vietnam in March 2009. Here is Cecilia taking our growing bun for a swim….

  5. What a beautiful picture…you captured it in such a wonderful way. I’m so happy to find such a blog! I’m very interested in photography as well…but unfortunately don’t have that kind of money to get a camera. I’m actually traveling there in February, and wondered, is it possible to buy a digital SLR there?
